The Hotel - Accommodation

This historical Hotel-Restaurant, managed since generations by Ghirardini's, is situated in the town center of Bosco (Municipality of Corniglio-PR), a country hamlet of Upper Val Parma, ideal destination for relaxing stays and departure point for several tours in Cento Laghi Regional Park and Appennino Tosco-Emiliano National Park.
The structure, representing the main point of reference in the town, also offers a large bar and a newsstand.
The location of Bosco enables an easy access to the Passes of the Apennines connecting the Tuscan-Ligurian slope with the Sea (Cisa, Cirone, and Highway A15 Parma-Spezia).

With its 10 rooms, the Hotel welcomes its guests in a homely and cosy atmosphere, with its characteristic mountain-style furniture. At the first floor, the Hotel welcomes since 1998 an Info Point of Cento Laghi Park where guests and visitors can have a look at the tourist and promotional material, as well as purchase maps, publications, and gadgets. The owners of the Hotel are at disposal to give advice on the hiking itineraries best suiting the visitors' needs and on the natural and landscape features present in the area.
The Hotel offers breakfast, half-board, and full-board service.

The Restaurant

The restaurant is the excellence of the structure, with its hall welcoming 80 guests and its famous dishes based on the characteristic products of the mountain gastronomy: homemade cold cuts, tortelli and potato gnocchi, lasagne, and risotti. The second dishes are also very good: they include roasted and cacciatore meat.

ECO Label: Award for Environmental Quality Commitment

In January 2009, both the Hotel and the Restaurant obtained the ECO Certification, the Environmental Quality Label awarded to the tourist structures situated in the Protected Areas of the Province of Parma, distinguishing themselves for the respect of strict eco-sustainability rules. The Hotel has obtained the certification thanks to its commitment to energy and water saving, waste reduction and correct disposal, and the enhancement of the environmental, cultural, artistic, and gastronomic heritage of the territory.

We also ask our guests to be "eco-tourists" and share our commitment to environment and sustainability, implementing a few and easy rules and following our advice.
We ask our guests to fill in and give us back the ECO Questionnaire which, with a few easy questions, will give us the opportunity to improve our service and assess the efficacy of the environmental policies we have decided to implement.

How to Reach Us
You can reach Bosco di Corniglio:

• from Parma by taking SP 665 "Massese" direction Langhirano, then go ahead to location Pastorello and take the SP 13 direction Corniglio, and then the brand new SP 116 "dei Cento Laghi" up to Bosco.
• from Highway A15 Parma-La Spezia, exit Pontremoli (MS). Go ahead to Cirone Pass and Bosco di Corniglio, or take the exit in Berceto, head to Sillara Pass and get to Bosco di Corniglio.
