Didactic Proposals School Year 2012/2013

The Park and Environmental Education

The Park represents for pupils and teachers a "special" place where they can stop, look, discover, and grow, surrounded by a landscape where nature, agriculture, and culture melt, where nature and human activities have been coexisting for centuries. Also for the school year 2011/2012, school tourism proposals are interesting and appealing: they are dedicated to schools that want to carry out short visits (1 or 2 days) and give the opportunity to thoroughly study issues linked to agriculture and local products, nature and landscape, history and culture, diet, education to sustainability. Moreover, the offer is diversified, and gives the opportunity to discover the Park not only during the typical period for school trips (spring), but also "off-season", in order to appreciate the autumn colors and tastes and, in winter, the charm of the snow-clad mountains far from the ski tracks and artificial snow. A mix of didactics, entertainment-sport activities, and sensory experiences.

School Tourism in Cento Laghi Park

The Park offers a series of "official" school tourism activities, selected together with the Tourist District "Appennino Parma Est". The activities can last one or two days: in this case, it is possible to choose whether you want to join the program of only one of the two days.
The tours are managed by Environmental Hiking Tour Guides, recognized and authorized according to L.R. 4/2000 "Norme per la disciplina delle attività turistiche di accompagnamento", in some cases led by "experts" in the specific fields.
For some activities, there are structures offering eventual additional services: room and board, equipment rental... You can decide whether you need these services or not.
