Didactic proposals for the school year 2022/2023

A lively park, full of contrasts, that offers a journey through history and tragic memories in a colourful natural context. Monte Sole historical park was created to protect an especially valuable natural heritage, but also to preserve the troubled memories of WWII.

New in 2022

Video meetings

Long distance meetings to talk about the history of the Monte Sole community, the tragedy of the war and its memories, but also to discover the features of a landscape that bears the signs of human histories in a land rich in biodiversity. Duration: 1 hour - Info: anna.salerno@enteparchi.bo.it - 3386362328 (Mo-Fr 9-12.30)

Guided visits

Departure and arrival point: Il Poggiolo Visitor Center (where the didactic room and the parking area are situated). The trails provide the outward and the backward journeys along the same route (apart from the excursion to Mt. Sole and Mt. Caprara summits and the visit to Cerpiano, including ring-route sectors).
The expected duration is only approximate and it includes the stops for the reading, the narration and the debates. On demand one can stop to have one's own packed lunch during hikes lasting more than 3 hours, outside the massacre places. Thanks for your visit!
