Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park is situated in the heart of the central Apennines, among Abruzzi, Lazio and Molise, at the same distance from the Adriatic and the Tyrrhenian Sea.
- If you come from Rome, you can take highway A24/A25
Rome-L'Aquila-Pescara, exit in Celano or in Pescina, and then go ahead
to Bisegna (or to Gioia dei Marsi), or highway A1 Rome-Naples, exit in
Frosinone, then go ahead to Sora-Forca d'Acero and cross in this way
the Park slope in Lazio.
- If you come from the south, take highway A1 up to the exit in Caianello and then go ahead to Venafro and Alfedena.
- The nearest railway stations are Avezzano (Rome-Pescara railway line) and
Castel di Sangro (Sulmona - Castel di Sangro railway line), then you will have
to continue the journey by coach.
- Public means of transport link
the Park to Avezzano and Castel di Sangro. During the summer, there is
a direct bus service connecting daily Rome with the Park and vice versa
