Ancient mule tracks developing among the valley bottom mills and the overhanging villages are the thread of a wonderful crescendo of discoveries: from the ruins of a castle to the abandoned but still alive villages between the Pietra and the gypsum mountains, the foundations of an ancient oratory, the trails leading to the chestnut woods hanging on the cliffs... The first stretch will lead you to discover the nature trail of the Triassic gypsum formations, the last stretch to discover Mt. Merlo.
