Public Transport

• Giglio Island
  You can reach Giglio Island all year round, after one-hour navigation leaving from the port of Porto Santo Stefano (GR).
  
  
• Giannutri
  You can reach Giannutri Island all year round, after one-hour navigation leaving from the port of Porto Santo Stefano (GR)
  
  
• Capraia
  You can reach Capraia Island all year round, after about two hours and a half navigation leaving from the port of Livorno.
  
  
• Gorgona
  Gorgona Island houses an agricultural penal colony: therefore, visits are organized for a limited number of participants on Tuesdays, by previous booking (Agenzia Atelier del Viaggio: Tel. 0586/884154). Departure from the port of Livorno.
  
  
• Pianosa
  Pianosa Island can be visited since 1998, when the prison was closed. However, after 150 years characterized by the presence of the prison, it is still undergoing changes. For this reason, visits are allowed to a limited number of participants and carried out along guided route.
  
  
• Elba Island
  You can reach Elba Island all year round, after one-hour navigation from the port of Piombino (LI).
  
  
• Montecristo
  If you want to visit Montecristo Island, you need a specific authorization issued by both the National Forest Service and the Park Authority.
