Badia Prataglia is the most important town in the Park; it has survived for centuries thanks to its economy linked to the activities carried out in the forest and, for this reason, the forest has been chosen as the central theme of the Visitor Center. The reproduction of the working places and tools used by coalsmen and woodsmen give visitors the opportunity to make a time journey into a history made "of men and trees". It is a series of images aiming at telling the daily life in the forest, when wood was considered one of the most important resources by mountaineers.
