Directions

By Car

  • From the west (Rome):
    A24 Rome-L'Aquila and A25 Torano-Pescara, exits Pratola Peligna, Bussi, Torre de' Passeri, Alanno-Scafa. From here, head for the Park Municipalities following the SS roads no. 17, 487, 614, 81, 84.

  • From the north (Bologna, Ancona) and from south-east (Bari):
    A14 up to Pescara and then A25 towards the inland. The eastern slope of Majella is accessible from Val di Sangro heading for Casoli, or from exit Pescara-Chieti heading for Guardiagrele.

  • From south-west (Naples):
    A1 up to Caianello and then in direction Venafro-Roccaraso.
 

By Train

  • Railway line: Rome-Sulmona-Pescara
  • Local railway line: Sulmona-Carpinone-Isernia
 

By Bus

Bus lines: Arpa and Sangritana bus services connecting the Park Municipalities with Sulmona, Chieti, Pescara, Lanciano, and Guardiagrele.

 

By Plane
