For some years Majella National Park has been promoting environmental education projects aiming at spreading the environmental values characterizing it, together with its territorial realities. For this reason initiatives such as "Scuole per il Parco" (Schools for Parks) have been implemented: it deals with a network comprising some of the schools situated in this territory aiming at mutual collaboration to organize the protected area and to promote educational activities about the Park's favorite themes. Thanks to other initiatives ("Il Valore della Biodiversità" - "Biodiversity Value" - and "Io Mela Mangio" - "I eat apple") Park's operators meet local schools (students and teachers), in the classrooms or outside, to explain the importance of biodiversity.
