Rye

A variety with strictly winter habits, with high plants and a very prostrate bearing at the end of the bunching. Rye, locally called sécina, is a species characterized by a good resistance to the cold climate, and for this reason it has always been cultivated on the difficult mountain soils, as demonstrated also by the presence of several place names in the Park area including the word secina.
