River Po and Collina Torinese Park, in collaboration with the involved authorities (Municipalities of Carmagnola, Settimo Torinese and Turin, Freidano Ecomuseum in Settimo, Natural History Town Museum in Carmagnola, and GTT Gruppo Torinese Trasporti), has opened three Visitor Centers situated in local structures that are not property of the Park Authority. The aim of our Visitor Centers is to provide instruments, incentives, and information to discover the territory and its specific features. The Visitor Centers of River Po and Collina Torinese Park give the opportunity to discover the naturalistic and cultural aspects of the Park, as well as to interact with the instruments at the visitors' disposal, like videos, slides, relief models, dioramas, and toys.
At the moment, River Po and Collina Torinese Park has two Visitor Centers: one in Carmagnola (dedicated to the river morphology and wildlife), one in Settimo Torinese (dedicated to water and the professions linked to water) and one in Superga (dedicated to the hill environments).
A fourth Visitor Center, dedicated to the Park flora, will be available soon in Moncalieri, in the same premises housing the Park Head Offices in Cascina Le Vallere and next to Allioni Phenological Garden.
