Jeep Service to Malga ra Stua

Also this year the stretch of road from Sant'Uberto to ra Stua will be closed in the period between 8th July to 10th September 2000. The access to the "malga" will be granted to hikers on foot, and a substitutive jeep service will be organized.
A group of private hirers, in agreement with the Regole, will provide a non-stop service every 20 minutes.

"Rinaldo Zardini" Paleontological Museum
In the showcases of the paleontological museum there are million of years of history on the Earth. With your imagination, you can reconstruct it among the thousands shapes of the marine creatures, petrified by time: they witness a period starting 200 million years ago, when a calm tropical sea covered the Earth. It is one of the largest existing fossil collection, including shells of marine vertebrates, corals, sponges, and fossils of many animals. It was Rinaldo Zardini, a researcher from Ampezzo, who gathered them in the area of the Dolomites surrounding Cortina and organized them in a collection highlighting their geological and morphological evolution.

Seasonal Opening: from 20th December to 30th March and from 20th June to 15th September. Open for groups by previous booking also during the closure.
