Visitor Centers and Info Points
Currently the Park structures dedicated to visitors are:
- the visitor center in Pedavena
- the information point in Seravella
- the visitor center in Valle Imperina (to be completed)
Study and Research Activities
The scientific research is one of the main aims of the National Parks, and therefore of Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park which has been organizing since its establishment a rich series of scientific researches dealing with naturalistic, historical-anthropological, economic, and managerial aspects.
Besides the studies commissioned to researchers and Universities, the Park archive includes the theses of all the students who dealt with this area.
To enhance the value of this heritage, the Park has created a prize which will be given every two years to the best theses studying the issues related to the protected area.
The Park Official Tour Guides
According to what established by the law on protected areas, Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park has created its own group of "Official Tour Guides".
At the end of a specific training course on the protected area and after passing a final exam, they received the title of "Park Official Tour Guide".
The Park Tour Guides are gathered in the cooperative "Mazarol" and deal both with hiking tour guide activities all year round and environmental education projects dedicated to schools.
