From Capannelle Pass, go downhill along SS 80 direction Teramo. From km 26.300, a road cut into the mountainside branches off towards the east (right side if you go down) and crosses the northern slope of Mt. San Franco. At the junction there is a sign indicating Panepucci Alessandri Mountain Hut.
