The Ecomuseum is a pedagogical and didactic reference point in the area, in harmony with nature. It is one of the few in northern Italy, as well as being the only scientific museum of the Oglio Sud Park and Mantua. Protagonists of the museum are the Oglio and Chiese rivers, with sections dedicated to the origins of the territory, from the first settlements along their shores to the history of the rivers, to the animals, to edible grasses, etc. The economic activities are also in close relation with the territory, for example the horticultural system, the clay, the popular traditions with their rituals that mark the seasons, the costume history or the pre-industrial techniques.
The ecomuseum Valli Oglio Chiese is also the Park Visitor Centre.
