Environmental Education Proposals - School Year 2009/2010

Ticino Park, in association with Ar.Tur.O., offers for the school year 2009/2010 new and enlarged educational activities to carry our in the protected area or at school.
As in the past, each teacher will have the opportunity to agree with the Park the educational proposals most suiting the needs and interests of his/her class. We believe that a positive synergy between parks and schools can offer young people more opportunities to discover the environment they live in, singling out the issues and inventing new solutions.

Useful information:

The activities are led by Naturalistic Tour Guides recognized by Regione Piemonte and Ticino Park Authority, covered by insurance. Each group (max 25/30 participants - except teachers and tour guides) will have a naturalistic tour guide at its disposal.
The participation fee per group (class) is:

Euros 90.00 for half-day activities (about 3 hours)
Euros 150.00 for full-day activities
Euros 80.00 classroom meetings
Free of charge for the teachers

The participation fee does not include the cost of the transport. There are picnic areas for the lunch break.

Useful advice: wear adequate trekking clothes and shoes, bring an umbrella or raincoat in case of bad weather, as well as some water.
