It resembles a common creamy jam, with a dark violet-blue color, quiet sweet and smelling like violets.
It is packaged in small glass jars with a capacity of 106 ml and 48 ml. It is used even in the pastry shops. The specific tools to prepare it are: a mixer to blend the petals, a lemon juicer for the lemon juice, a steel pot, small glass jars with twist-off jar caps for the sterilization. The processing can be carried out at home, for private use only, or in a laboratory authorized by the local public health company in charge if it is sold to the public. This product expires in one year.
